This year’s International Composites Conference (ICC) will take place in Stuttgart, Germany from Sept. 10-12, for the first time co-located with the Composites Europe trade fair. The program for ICC 2019 has been recently announced, including this year's theme: “Impulses for Innovation.” The program includes material requirements in “New Mobility” and in the construction sector to progress in the large-scale production of composites components to new markets.

Starting off the plenary sessions on Tuesday will be a composites market overview, covering markets in Europe, the U.S. and the U.K., which is the partner country for this year’s country. The keynote presentation will be given by Dr. Christine Eisenmann of the German Aerospace Center, and is titled “The future of automobility: insights from transport research."

On the first day, participants can choose between conference tracks in mobility or buildling & infrastructure. On the second day, the tracks including thermoplastics, thermosets, bio-based composites and a process-tech forum. A networking event will be held for all attendees the second night of the conference. The trade fair will be held on Sept. 12, along with a Young Innovators poster session
